Against this background, the Research & Development Department has always enjoyed a special status in our company. Its tasks include the early recognition of current trends and the constant optimization of existing products. This process is accompanied by modern analytical and testing methods and naturally, the R&D Department makes sure that all guidelines of the EU Cosmetics Directive 1223/2009/EU are followed and implemented.
Intensive contacts to the dental professionals and the collaboration with independent scientific institutes give our work an important impetus.

The development of new formulations and the further development of existing ones constitute the main work emphasis in our R&D Department. In it, the primary focus is on the analysis and selection of new raw materials and active ingredients plus their scientifically-based use options in dental and oral hygiene.
Ecological aspects are considered, however. Thus, renewable raw materials in the formulations are already the most important constituents in many of our products.
For this purpose, sample formulations are prepared in our modern laboratory and subject to costly stability and storage tests. The tolerability of the raw materials for our health and the environment is extensively evaluated. Only until all quality and analytical parameters have been satisfied will the gradual transfer of the developed formulations to the production process take place. Employees with access to the in-house data network can always see all applicable documents such as manufacturing specifications, safety data sheets, specifications and other analytical parameters.
